Social Media

Why is social media important for businesses?

Without any social media presence, your business could
only be unlocking 40% of its potential customer base.

A recent study shows that 5.66 billion users are active on social media channels, driving over 60% of global product discovery in 2026. Most people are on social media multiple times a day, offering your business multiple opportunities to connect with new audiences, and to nourish existing ones.

Showcase Your Business to an Active Audience

Social media users are already online. Deliver your business through organic or paid social activities to new audiences without them having to come to you.

Connect with Future and Existing Customers

Customer servicing made easy by meeting your audience where they’re already at. Publicly responding to your audience through your social channels increases the trust, reliability, and genuineness of your business in a world of AI uncertainty.

Better Understand Your Audience and Their Needs

Social media platforms offer the benefit of analytical data to better understand your audience’s demographics, such as age, location, interests, and more. This can help you tailor messaging and, in some cases, shape the future direction of your business.

Promote Your Unmissable Information and Products

Work delivered:

  • Campaign Concept

  • Campaign Design

  • Campaign Build

  • Campaign Optimisation

For this project, my client had become qualified to install Air-Conditioning and wanted to run some paid social media ads to promote his new service during a heatwave.

I worked with my client to ensure the ads reflected professionalism, but also realistic triggers in which Air-Conditioning would be considered.

As his business was new to social media, we targeted a broad audience to help him better understand who his target audience should be, and tested three different types of messaging.

This resulted in a cost per lead of £6.48, each lead with a potential revenue of at least £700.

Ad creative previews:

“I contacted Locally Grown Marketing to help me reach a new audience after recently becoming qualified to do Air Conditioning. Within moments, the ideas and creativity Scarlett came up with for these adverts came flying in. I couldn't get over how good her ideas were straight off the bat. She gave me complete confidence in her abilities, and what she produced blew me away. In addition to the ads, she even helped me set up a Facebook business page. The advertisements worked a dream! I had multiple business enquiries the same day the advert went live. She certainly knows her industry and craft. Cant recommend any higher for personalised and thorough marketing advice. “
